Help I can't find my stuff!!!
Ways to keep your craft workspace organised.
Have plenty of boxes for storing all your craftbits.Always label them as well. I have shoe boxes for all my paper bits and pieces and they stack nicely. Fabric, wadding, patterns etc and all my quilting paraphenalia I place in a chest of drawers and again label the front so that you know exactly where everything is.
One rule I've forced myself to follow is to only pull out what I'm going to use,not everything incase I want to use it . Also if you're a quilter set yourself up a design wall, not only does it store your quilt top while your working on it,but everytime you walk past you can move your blocks around until you find the perfect design
Help to turn your craft into a business
I feel that the role of a good magazine is also to help crafters who want to turn their craft into a business do so. I have been surfing looking for good quality help and articles for you to do just that.

My Top 5 Tips for Web Based Craft
(1) Link to sites that compliment yours
(2)Keep your site fresh with new content added regularly (google loves that)
(3) Advertise. It doesn't matter how good your site is if no-one knows it's there
(4) Treat your buyers as if you were face to face with them
(5) Tell everyone you know ( and those you don't) that your craft is now available Online
More Tips
Make sure friends and family know when you're working and when you're not. It's hard to work with lots of distractions.Especially when you're writing descriptions etc.
Try to get someone to proof read for you. After a while of reading you miss your own typo's. A fresh reader will see every single one of them(I know my daughter enjoys proof reading for me and I'm sure she takes great pleasure in showing me my errors lol)
Make sure your chair is comfortable and you take breaks from the screen
I know it all sounds pretty basic but it's easy to work too long and then walk away with an aching back, eyestrain headaches and a severe bout of RSI. I know I've walked away from the computer with all three at once lol
Cool Stuff to add to your site.
You can get yourself some great widgets here

Networking Do You do it?
Well I suppose we're doing it now aren't we.As women we tend to do it naturally. What's your best networking tip? You should be networking all the time especially when you run your business from home as it's too easy to become isolationist. Network Groups aren't just work they're fun as well. So get out there and make yourself known and have some fun!!!!!
Here's some tips I've picked up
Take your business cards with you everywhere you go
Don't expect a sale when you first meet people give them time to get to know you
If you meet some-one you really hit it off with don't be frightened to ring them and invite them for coffee etc
I went to a network meeing a couple of weeks ago and the speaker said wear a name badge wherever you go (Get a nice one!!!) she said it makes people feel comfortable with you when they know your name
